Looking back at this past year’s journey, it honestly feels surreal to be on the other side of it. I think the biggest takeaway I have is to trust the process over the panic. After having solid job stability for a whole decade, watching everything fall apart and realizing I had to start… (edited) read more

I was at church today and the Pastor said for "people on welfare to stop being lazy and to get up and work". He quoted from the Bible to support his statement. However, the Scriptures also say, that bad luck can hit anyone at anytime and can last for a long-time. Have you read the story of Job,… (edited) read more

Sunday night, I'm writing proverbs.

Journal prompt of the day...picture your dream home...
So picture your dream home. What does it look like? Who is there? Where is it? So I will share mine... A countryside house with beautiful gardens, a red front door and a big car in the drive. I have a gorgeous farmhouse kitchen with a range cooker baskets on the floor for the dogs, fresh… (edited) read more

I wasn't born with knowledge. No. I had to work for what I know today. Little by little regularly over decades, I dedicated myself to learning. Just like you need to lift weights to gain muscle, the brain also needs exercises. Anyone can be intelligent, you just have to work at it. That's all.
Nice day
I'm at psychiatric ward, waiting for my appointment. The weather is beautiful today and what a nice clean building. 🍒

🌱
No heat in my building, there will be no water on Monday. Life is a struggle. But, I am going to enjoy my day with a cup of hot beverage. ☕️💕

Don't fear
Recently someone left a sharp knife on the floor facing my apartment door. Am I afraid? No. Why? Because I'm mentally prepared. I've read good books over the years to build up my thoughts to be strong. I've had these bad experiences before, but I refuse to fear because we all have to die at some… read more

When I was younger my thinking was lopsided and incorrect. If I thought of someone, I only focused on their bad qualities that annoyed me. These small annoyances would cause me problems I created. This is who I am
Every time I get hurt, I tell myself I'll become distant and cold. but somehow, I always go back to being kind and talkative like nothing happened. And I guess that pretty sums me up as a person. I still laugh, still care, and still treat people with the same kindness. Umm maybe that's just who I… read more

So excited for the first hike of the month! This time, I was able to convince two of my friends to join me 🩷

The time I spent in the Psychiatric hospital, there was nothing to do. No laundry, no cooking, no going to coffee shops. And fate chose your roommate! Sometimes, you may have to live with a difficult roommate, and this was the most difficult of all experiences. Now, I enjoy my time alone.

Growing up isn't as easy as I once imagined. It doesn't make life simpler—it just brings new challenges I've never had to face before. Today was the first day of school, and I'm exhausted lol. I spent the day organizing the classroom, getting everything ready, and helping the kids settle in. They were full of energy, so it definitely took a lot of patience. Even though I'm tired, I'm grateful. Being busy like this reminds me that… (edited) read more

A week ago a person from my building was angry with me because I'm on welfare (Social Assistance). She said that we are 'lazy people' and does not like the way we live. "Love should be easy"
People say, Love should be easy. Umm.. I agree. But that doesn't mean a relationship should require no effort at all. There's no such thing as an effortless relationship. Nobody really seems to tell you growing up, that you have a relationship with yourself or that you need to be a friend to yourself before others.
