Writing a good story

Howdy yall! I'm divided on where I should go from here. In my book, it has been 13 chapters of the here and now, but I'm at the point where I could introduce fantasy elements. But should I? Or do I keep it as is, keeping it real? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! ✌️
