How impressed are you when someone tries to speak your language?

My mother tongue is considered to be one of the most difficult to learn (green area)... especially our grammar, so we have low expectations of foreigners speaking it but would say we are quite impressed when someone learns to speak it fluently... because, well... why? 😆 Image courtesy: The World...
