My Goldfish is in Labor

I just found out my one of the goldfish in my koi fish pond was pregnant when the koi fish started pushing her to the surface. So I moved her to a nesting tank and I’m interested to see how many babies she has. This is her and her husband, Phil.

Loons Nesting

Loon on nesting platform on Little Gibson lake. Small lake 32 acres (14 Hectares). Not the closest shot of her I know. But I didn’t want to get too close. Don’t want her to abandon the nest. The 4 vertical poles on the corners of the platform are to prevent eagles from preying on their eggs.

Mostly making it obvious

Posting so anyone who cares enough to look knows that I am poly with a nesting partner.... I feel like it's really hard to meet people and date but it may just be because I'm an introvert with ADHD and forget to talk back sometimes 😅 (edited)

Anyone else struggle with finding genuine Poly relationships? My nesting partner (male) has no problems. But me it's only unicorn hunters, fake-poly and hookups.

First year gardening

My nesting partner and I bought our first house the end of last year and I knew I wanted a garden. I did not realize how much I would love it. Everything is thriving tomatoes, cucumbers, Peppers, broccoli and squash. I spend an hour or more a day in the garden. I am hooked.

Not a hawk

When I 1st saw this bird behind my back yard, I thought it was a hawk at quick glance. But my neighbour identified it as Pheasant Coucal. This pic was taken earlier this week. It usually flies away when my dog barks, but still comes back to it's nesting area when my dog isn't outside

BBQ chicken wings & drumsticks with my own rub recipe and Rudy's BBQ Sause (not a typo), steam crisp white corn in a Kerrygold Butter sauce, leftover biscuits and fresh yard fruit in milk & sugar.

My kitten passed away

Me and my nesting partner had a kitten, who was the runt of her litter. After her passing we decided to do some ritual work and keep her skull. This is the end result after skinning, Hydrogen peroxide bathes, cleaning and burning/cleansing. Took about a week of mental strain and working through it.
