So as a non-monogamousist myself. One of the biggest things about nesting partners that I think about is whether or not they would ever want yet another nesting partner. I decided a while back that I don't like being on the outside looking in. I don't like feeling like I'm a secondary of any kind. If I were to date someone that had a nesting partner I would like to know that it's possible that someday if things are working that I would become that. I'm in general pretty weird these days about wanting to meet someone that's polyamorous that's already in a relationship. I don't want to be a secondary. Why don't I want to be a secondary? Because we had to hide things from the kids perpetually. I couldn't be affectionate with her in the home if they were around for that very reason. Her husband always came first, even if I really needed her, he took precedence. I'm okay with Polly even if that's not the particular aspect that I need it doesn't necessarily preclude it. It might be weird but I think ultimately I want to live with my partner even if another partner also lives there. I could be wrong though I've also said that I'd be great if I could just live next door... Also there are really big poly communities where you live if you can convince yourself to go out. (edited)

Same here. My GF is poly and we're opening up our relationship to couples or females. My GF is pansexual and I'm straight. She's the outgoing and social one. I'm the introvert and full of anxiety when it comes to taming to the opposite sex. So it's really hard for me to find someone, and it's no problem for her.
