What genre of music best calms you?

My go to relaxation music, which I doubt most will understand, is female screamer music like OTEP IN THIS MOMENT BUTCHER BABIES ETC...

But why?

Why does every single metal band sounds like someone rewing up a combustion engine? (SLIPKNOT, 5FDP, otep...)

What live performance were you amped to see only for it to be a massive disappointment?

I have two that come to mind. Back in the early 2000s I went to go see Monster magnet as part of a rock festival.
