Snapshot
A picture is worth a thousand words, But have you ever heard It is also worth a thousand thoughts. A photographer remembers his favorites, Then ventures to find Something that reminds him of those shots. The feeling of either pain or joy Are all the same, Clouding his vision to see what is there. Blinded, he passes countless subjects All calling his name, Only to wait for nostalgia to share. Then he eventually finds his moment At the exact angle, Only to see it wasn't the same. Disappointed, he took a step back, Remembering the simple joy Of photography without needing fame. He realized that his perfect snapshot, Along with his emotions, Blocked him from seeking more. Until he could presently see the subjects All calling his name, Was when manifestation opened up his door.
