Let's take a minute to be real
It doesn't matter how many funny or poignant poems I write I'm not capable of winning this fight No one can change the world all alone Especially when you cannot get people to put down their phone We all want everything right now It's the world of instant gratification some how You ask some one their goals for future times They tell you they want to be rich or famous or both is fine You ask how they plan to accomplish this dream Wishing and playing the lottery is the most common theme Everyone wants the big reward They just don't want to pay what they can't afford We have whole generations that believe they are owed it all This is why society will fall The Bible says the meek will inherit the earth I think it's a typo and the weak will return us to the dirt (edited)
