Dear Mom,

I hope this letter finds you in God’s loving embrace, or at least by His side. I hope it doesn't interrupt your time with the other angels.

Please, don't read this with tears; instead, look down from heaven and smile, proud of me for facing my struggles and finding healing.

Honestly, I'm not sure how to process your passing. I have mixed emotions. I feel like you left this world gracefully because you lived so well. But at the same time, I can't shake the feeling that your passing was so unfair; you left in front of me, and the pain still haunts me and affects my appetite. They say time heals, but it still hurts so much. On the other hand, being with you in your last moments was a gift; it expanded my empathy for those going through tough times. And losing you gave me the chance to understand my faith and what God means to me.

Mom, you lived every moment to the fullest, and for that, I'm grateful. Thank you for every smile, every word of encouragement, and for showing me what real courage looks like. Thank you for believing in me and introducing me to God. Your life was so meaningful, and that’s why you left this world with grace.

Now, go back and keep watching over me from heaven, guiding my steps.

It's gone by fast, hasn't it? The time flows on the way we are. Since when have we started thinking alike?

Fights, Silence, we do everything together. And even then, your voice gives me a feeling of relief. 

How you like me? With these new emotional arguments. It's so hard. It's not easy,but it feels nice.

This Indestructible, unbreakable bonds that can never be broken. Our soul is a twin soul. 

For example, even if it looks like you're about to fall from a cliff, at least know that I won't let go of your hand. Because I will protect you until the end. 

Maybe it's because of you, surprisingly I like myself. There are a lot of things I hate too. And they're starting to disappear. 

My dad said to me when I was very little, "Being with someone you love will make you a stronger person". Am I just confused now? I wonder if my feelings have been conveyed to you.

Well,honestly I want to tell you about them now. Sometimes important things are just invisible that they can't be seen. 

So, I've gotta say this to you over and over again. If we were to break up and I didn't have to feel anything, well I would want to feel everything.

As I was reading the “Atomic Habits” by James Clear, I found a letter I write to myself last December 2022 while we are having a vacay at the beach as family. Writing letters and receiving hand written letters are part of me. 

2022 was really a tough year for most of us. But then, as I tracked down why most of the time I felt drained and disappointed? Due to lack of discipline and courage. We tend to plan bigger goals but failing to break it into smaller ones. Thus, sometimes the best thing that you can do for yourself is as little as possible. 

Do not pressure yourself.Line upon line, precept upon precept. We’ve got this.🙌

I just wanted to share this lesson with you, before I unfollow you. These past few days, I think I am living differently from the way I used to. I feel like I am not my real self. I feel like I suddenly crossed the path; I do not know where it will go. I cannot deny that I felt happiness during these times. But after a few days, the happiness I was feeling suddenly disappeared, and there is nowhere to find it again. I tried to look for it; I asked somebody; I approached random people. wishing, hoping, and believing that maybe the happiness I am trying to look for is with them. Unfortunately, they don't have it. It's not with them.
I felt sad. It hurts, especially from the inside. I became emotionally unstable...
But I thank God because He is building me up, He continuously inspires me, for me not to lose hope, and for me to continue to live. He was the one who made me realize that life, especially our own selves, is very important.
And we don't deserve to be treated badly. We are not deserving of receiving lies. We are not deserving of the promises that are too good to be broken.
You know what, it was not actually happiness.. yung naramdaman ko nung mga panahong yun..  but rather a pleasure. The temporary feelings of  love, hope,and smiles.. the feelings where everything is full of hesitations... the feelings where there is no permanency.. and the feelings where there is no happiness.
Good luck on your future endeavours, I hope you find the happiness you truly deserve.
