Next to oxygen, water is our most important necessity. You must have it to live. Please be sure to think about this and get a gravity fed filter, life straws, just something to ensure you will always have access to drinkable water.

How many days would you last without external food, water and electricity?

My food and frozen water might only last for two months of being cut off, but stashing more requires faster rotation or longer shelf life.

Baking bread using ten year old wheat flour

Will it still be edible for emergency use? If so, one could last a ten year nuclear winter by hoarding wheat and adding squirrel meat.
