My food and frozen water might only last for two months of being cut off, but stashing more requires faster rotation or longer shelf life.

How many days would you last without external food, water and electricity?

Will it still be edible for emergency use? If so, one could last a ten year nuclear winter by hoarding wheat and adding squirrel meat.

A big part of electricity in a household goes to refrigerating food 24/7. This soup was made using only dry ingredients and root vegetables stored in +16°C against a cold door surrounded by a pile of rugs, without using any electricity. In the summer when my solar panels produce enough electricity, I can run a refrigerator at half effect that vegetables prefer and only buy grid power from wind on cloudy days.
