When someone asks for a "quick gift"... 😅

Short notice request, so I spent a couple of hours on the lathe and made this chunky solid oak bowl, then added engraving to finish it off. Pretty chuffed with how it came out, made from an old railway sleeper - oak isn't the easiest thing to turn but produces a satisfying result. Photos below 🙂

Random Fact of the Day!

The first major underground railway network was the London Under ground, it opened in 1863. Ironically, the majority of the London Underground was above ground haha!

Train trip rhymes with bento

I like that the Taiwan Railway has an official bento box. And here it is, the classic pork chop bento. For 100 NTD, which is less than 4e. The value is insane, and taste was excellent 👌

Actually, it was used to transport ammunition & parts to the sea artillery at the top. Koko Head, Oahu. This is a fantastic daily trail to stay in shape.
