My partner has a kid with his ex-wife and he has the kid one weeknon one week off. Due to my partner's work schedule, his ex picks up the kid from school on his weeks and then he picks up the kid from her house when he gets off. So he sees his ex wife every day and that makes me a little insecure

I am an ex like that βΊοΈ As it was mentioned in the previous comments, there was a reason they separated. They are *not* a couple anymore. He seems to be a great guy: his friendly relationship with his ex and being a responsible father are *huge* green flags!! You have all the reasons to be self confident, really. I have a lot of friends and acquaintances who are separated like myself. Reasonable, sane people donβt look back.
