What are the best relationship advice that you would give to your younger self or just anyone young..?

i can't jump in to different relationship to another.
This involve taking a break from dating to focus on personal healing and growth, seeking professional guidance, or developing new coping mechanisms. 

i know im not getting younger but if it's meant for you it will happen or just accept that love is not meant for you. I am not ignoring anyone i am just reevaluating my life choices.

note: my goal is to date to marry no hookup, no casual dating or situationship.

But they don’t know how to put it down without being called unstable, demanding, or too much.
So they apologize for their own truth.
Smile when it hurts.
Nod when they want to scream.

We don’t need to compare pain.
We need to see each other in it.

Because a woman’s pain isn’t a threat to a man’s.
And a man’s pain isn’t a dismissal of hers.

They’re both real.
Both valid.
And both asking to be met with honesty, not defensiveness.

Healing between men and women doesn’t begin with blame.
It begins with curiosity.
With saying:
“Tell me what it’s like for you.”
And actually listening.
Without making it about who has it worse.
Without trying to fix it or win the argument.

Just being with the truth.

If you stink you can use your red and green flags to shove off that air. All I can imagine about two partners here is this vibe, that attraction which goes beyond boundaries. ❤️

I’m doing fairly well in life. Solid career, good money, decent looks, and the confidence to walk into any room without shrinking myself. I wear what I want, eat what I crave, and travel wherever my heart tells me to. Logically, that’s what most people aim for, right?

I’m respected at work — a place where I spend most of my waking hours. I live alone, and truthfully, I enjoy my own company. But after almost 30 years of living, meeting people from all walks of life, I’ve realised something unsettling — I don’t really like anyone. It’s not hate. They’re good people. But my heart just doesn’t care… even when I want it to.

I recently joined a big company. Great people. Great culture. But the moment the conversation drifts toward anything personal, I go quiet. I don’t feel like sharing. I don’t want to talk about what life looks like after work — because honestly, it doesn’t excite me. I can’t fake a connection. And I can’t trust people. Not anymore.

I’ve had my share — friends, colleagues, relationships, even family — people I trusted, showed up for, confided in. And slowly, quietly, that trust eroded. It chipped away over time until I stopped expecting anything from anyone. Now, even when my heart aches for a real connection, something mutual, I end up withdrawing. Because it feels emotionally expensive just to give someone a chance.

Friends often say, “Call me if something’s on your mind.” But I don’t. I won’t. Because in this filtered, performative world we’ve built — no one really listens. No one really stays. Not beyond their own convenience.

So I’m not explaining, not asking for help. I’m just letting it out — into the void, into the universe. Maybe that’s enough for now.

Because what’s the point of all this success I’ve built when I don’t have a single number I can call anytime without wondering if I’m interrupting, or if they’ve got someone else they’d rather talk to?

In building this life for myself, I’ve made sacrifices. Chosen work over weekends, growth over gossip, discipline over drama. And now I’m here. But strangely, nothing feels real.

Have I learned too much about people to ever truly trust again?

I don’t even know.

Nothing brings me joy no matter what I do at this point! 💔
