I literally have fear every time I walk up these stairs, I struggle and have to rest every 2 steps otherwise I will have trouble breathing and pass out with really bad chest pain after .
I live upstairs so I can't really avoid it but I try to not go downstairs unless I really have to currently my mum's dog has heart failure so I have to give her medications .
She's not a terror like the other 2 lol .

I dedicated my week for me centred and hope to get better - I have only 2 principles- be happy & be healthy - other things will come when I have these 2 things. Hope you all have a happy & healthy week✨

Today starts Men's Mental Health Awareness Month is observed in June in the United States 
(Altho it fall on November in the United Kingdom)

It was established to raise awareness about the unique challenges men face, including the stigma surrounding vulnerability and the fact that men account for nearly 80% of all suicides.  Key initiatives include HeadsUpGuys (Step Up For Him) and NAMI's advocacy for open dialogue and early detection.

Okay, gimme your home remedies. No matter how unhinged. I keep sneezing in sets of 4, my throat hurts, and my sinuses feel so funny they are working on their own comedy routine. I tried a hot shower, I didn't the sinus rinse, I ate the noodles with spice, and I've had plenty of hot beverages. What else y'all got?

Ive noticed a pattern in what seems to trigger my seizures/ episodes it's whenever I do anything physical.
Only recently got my cardiologist report from 2020 as I wanted to review it back then I was told my heart was normal but he suspected sleep apena on clinical grounds yes my heart is normal in the sense of no heart disease or blockages but exercise induced myocardial ischemia isn't normal my heart isn't getting enough blood flow explains alot of my Symptoms so I can only suspect that my exercise induced myocardial ischemia has gotten worse.
If your wondering why I'm gathering data instead of going to the doctors immediately it's because once your diagnosed with FND you don't get taken seriously in my last ER visit in February when I told the doctor I keep passing out he said are you sure it's not just your FND causing it . 🙄 So gathering data is my only helpline at the moment.

Crop tops are a friend. During the whole of the shift I was mostly wearing a work shirt and a jacket, in addition underneath there were 3 layers and only one had contact with my stomach area. Since the weather in Lithuania right now is in-between 10-20 degrees Celsius the clothing choice was unexpectedly crucial in my overall comfort. Once the weather goes up to 20+ degrees Celsius I'll still be out like bear 🐻, but I'll deal with that in due time.

Yesterday accidentally discovered this one thing in regards to my thermal sensitivity.

In total she prescribed me three or four medicines, including antibiotics. I was not surprised by the idea of the total amount for those medicines, I was surprised at the sheer amount of medicine I have to buy 😂🤦🏻‍♀️.

About half an hour ago I got a call from a doctor on call at a clinic that told m that I have extensive sinusitis.

It’s OK, whatever you can do- it’s always better to do than not to do. I haven’t been well for one month- and under observation- but, I did some soft workout - I feel better emotionally & psychologically. Keep going fam.

Yeah... is not a "deep" or "cool" subject 😅 ~~ I know ~~ But why no one speaks about it? (Or I never read/heard someone saying it on a daily basis...). Mmm... unless you have enough money, or you didn't experienced losing your health, you probably won't understand, BUT it is indeed the truth that health is the most precious thing you can have, and you don't know it until you lose it.

So, the most difficult subject to talk and be honest about is money. Kind of no one wants to say what's the reality. Since it's a complex matter, I would advise you this: imagine if you get a serious illness and your insurance doesn't cover the treatments. By knowing the value of those meds and treatments, would you be able to pay for it? Imagine if the condition was chronic, meds and therapies, how much would you have to pay every month? Find out about that in your local reality, and you'll see how motivated you can get to improve your conditions. That pretty much sums it up "the thing about money".

Very embarrassing when I suddenly forget what I was about to say, or right as I'm about to say someone's name that I've been around, the name goes completely blank.

When the "All Clear" Misses the Full Picture: Why Advocacy Matters 🫀🩺

I’m sharing a bit of my recent health journey because it has taught me just how vital it is to look at our own data and be our own biggest advocates in the healthcare system. 

Recently, I had to visit the Emergency Department after experiencing some terrifying symptoms: acute breathing trouble, severe hyperventilation, dizziness, passing out (syncope), and a sudden, physical pulling inward of my sides. Because I have a history of seizure-like episodes, the ER hospital system defaulted to a psychological label—classifying the physical contractions in my sides as just a standard "muscle spasm" or a "pseudo-seizure"—and sent me home with a clean bill of health.

But when I dug into my actual blood test results from that visit, the raw data told a completely different, physical story:
* Anion Gap: 18 mmol/L (Significantly high, indicating an abnormal accumulation of acid in the blood).
* Bicarbonate: 21 mmol/L (Borderline low, because my body was actively using up its buffering base to fight that acid).
* Kidney Markers (Urea & Creatinine): Perfectly Normal (Meaning my kidneys weren't the cause of the acid buildup).

Medical research shows that a high anion gap with normal kidney function often points to a temporary surge of lactic acid—which happens when vital tissues are suddenly starved of oxygen. 

By piecing my past records together with my home biometric tracking, a very clear physical loop emerges. My historical records show a 2020 diagnosis of exercise-induced myocardial ischemia and sleep apnea with oxygen drops to 88%. My current tracking ring shows my heart rate spontaneously crashing into the 40s and my oxygen plunging to 84% at rest. 

When your heart rate and oxygen crash, your heart muscle can experience a severe, transient spasm (known as a coronary vasospasm or microvascular spasm). This lack of oxygen triggers an automatic bodily reflex called intercostal splinting—where the external muscles of your chest and flanks violently contract to guard the heart, physically pulling your sides inward. 

The ER doctors saw the external muscle spasm and blamed a psychological "pseudo-seizure." They completely missed that the spasm was a direct biological reaction to a temporary lack of oxygen and heart strain—which is why it vanished by the time I was resting in an ER bed.

I’m currently resting up and have compiled a complete, data-driven timeline to take directly to  specialists in cardiology, sleep medicine, and neurology. 

If you are dealing with a complex, chronic condition and feel like your physical symptoms are being brushed off as "just anxiety" or a mental health issue, please don’t give up. Trust your body, look at your raw laboratory data, and keep fighting for the objective answers you deserve. 📊❤️

Everywhere I look I see people that are in pain. Sometimes they're honest about it and tell the world. Others cry for help in more subtle ways.

They post here or on linkedIn or reddit telling whoever they can about their new AI solution or their new business model. I see through the facade. These people are in very deep pain, someone hurt them as a child or an adult and now they hope to get control however they can. 

If you are one of these people just know that you are loved. You are valued and you don't need to prove yourself to anyone. Forgive yourself. And forgive others.

Next time you see a "networking guru" selling you their latest secret don't think they have something you don't, don't put them on a pedestal. Feel a moment of love for them, then move on.
