8 weeks post ankle surgery

Broke my ankle and ruined my spring, but trying to get back to some mobility. Anyone have any tips they've used to get range of motion back in their body post surgery?

Feeling anxious.

I've been dealing with endometriosis for 9 years. I'm finally getting surgery for it, but the closer the day gets the more nervous I get. Maybe I'll call my therapist if she's available.

Upcoming Surgery Date

So I'm having surgery in less than 2 weeks now. I'm honestly scared as hell. I've never had surgery before so I don't know what it will be like. If only I had someone to comfort me before that day comes.

Wisdom teeth

Going to go get my wisdom teeth pulled today cause they hurt so bad I can't take it anymore. Has anyone had them taken out? Does it hurt? How did you feel the next day?

Surgery

Last Tuesday I got my tonsils removed…I’m in sooooooo much pain and discomfort I’m crying. I have medication but it make me so woozy 😵‍💫 I just want to heal so I can eat a fat juicy burger 🍔🍔🤣🤣

Getting Closer

1 more week until my gallbladder surgery. Have to be at the hospital by 6:30 in the morning. This is gonna be so scary because I have never had surgery in my entire life up until now. 28 years old and I've never had this happen to me before. At least I'll feel a lot better afterwards hopefully.

September 17th

I will be having three outpatient surgeries on this day. I'm anxious and scared about waking up nauseous and in pain. One of the three is bilateral tubal ligation via laparoscopy and another is an endometrial ablation. I'm not saying the third one but it's in the same general area. Wish me luck!… (edited) read more

Almost upon me

Next Wednesday I will have knee replacement surgery. Very anxious and not alleviated by my pre assessment today. In fact, I'm more anxious. So much prep before the op. So any tests. One of the options is a spinal block and sedation. No way will I consent to that! I want to be totally knocked out!

So I have to go in for another surgery on my back. To finish what was started September 7th. To secure and lock in the fusion and spinal cage. I hope it goes well.

Hysterectomy Total Robotic XI - Sep 22nd

Unfortunately my last surgery had repercussions and I'm hemorrhaging into my uterus so now it and my cervix must be removed. I go in on that date, already had my pre admissions. Wish me luck. Also, anyone else have this procedure?

Robotics Surgery

So I got Total Hysterectomy with Bilateral Salpingo-Oophorectomy. Basically took out my uterus, ovaries, and falloipan tubes all in one go. I got to hear what my surgeon and I did great! My entire surgical team was amazing too!

Just got a minor surgeon yesterday. Its so hurt when I wake up again in the morning, how long this hell will end, I have to keep my hand high to reduce the pain all the time ...
