I have never liked Ubuntu. It’s not the worst distro, but it bugs me the amount of time I have to spend ripping out really stupid packages I didn’t want in the first place! I don’t know how it fares now, but there was a time when the Ubuntu team patched the GTK+ scrollbars and altered their function, for the worst. It might not seem like much, but altering that low level functionality across the board left a bad taste in my mouth and the dumb default sounds… you know what, I’ll leave it there before the comment turns into the “why I hate Ubuntu” volume one. FYI: Steam on Linux. Yes, I’m that guy. Linux is my daily driver and has been since 2001 or so. (edited)
