I remember you in January,
a month that feels like a shared beginning,
though we never met in the ways we imagined.

The same birth month,
a quiet connection between us,
as time moves forward,
unraveling moments that never came to be.

The breaks that broke me before
have shaped me into someone stronger,
learning to heal in my own way,
with each step, with each breath.

How are you?
I ask, not expecting a reply,
but wondering if you’ve found what you’ve been searching for.

I hope this new year brings you
the life you’ve always dreamed of,
even though our paths have never crossed.

As for me,
I am here—
happy in the life I’ve built,
peaceful with where I am now.

Shadows of the past

If you honestly learned from the past what truth is now your foundation? We all have been bamboozled in some way or another. It could have been done by self because we wanted so much or it could have been by others because they wanted so much but valued so little. What is your no go, deal breaker, warning sign, trigger, PTSD, trauma, and how do you cope? We all have coping mechanisms and maybe if we can identify pain we can see that it's not an offensive attack but a defensive maneuver.

Did you learn from the past

I believe forgetting the past of your life is not easy, especially if that past hurt you so much. One thing for sure healing takes time. 😔

Forget about the past

Do you still reconnect to people you or left you in the past? Why or why not?

Ignore all the bad things and move on !! 😊

Remember in the past when u could chill outside all night with your friends talking about everything on your house steps time really  have changed with all the gun violence

I said treat them as friends cautiously and rebuild the friendship first.

Things really have changed back in the day when a school had a trip it was always the school  bus now the kids ride septa to events  things really have changed

Save this fragile dreamland  Wash away our footprints in the sand...Global warming is causing weather changes right before our eyes ...But we still blacken our skies Sunrays take less time to burn our faces . But we still destroy our rain forests and just leave empty spaces
The men spill out of the factories everywhere Punching their time clocks basically unaware
Don’t realize what's happening to the big picture The massive devastation of the atmospheric mixture ...Every day go through their daily motions Waiting it out for measly promotions
Distant stares and silent prayers Monday to Friday . . . say goodbye Our oceans are slicked with oil spills Our waterways full of toxic waste that kills , We build our cities on mountains of pollution
Without an environmental solution ,, We live our lives in search of wealth
In the process damage our good health . Crime stories are found on every newspaper page
People loosing control in an uncertain age...The victims of greed are getting younger
In a world that still allows their hunger ..Our petty problems make us hang down our heads
While million's go unfed ..Desire unfolds the light of our day .But we cannot give in to the subtle decay...We must rise above the haze descending..Toward mass action mending
We must take control of our actions today or the children of tomorrow will be the one's to pay
The new innkeepers shall soon take charge  of the next generation’s voyage at large
Trends are patterned and patterns trended But man's damage must be ended!
