I have always struggled with self-confidence since I was a kid in elementary school. I was constantly bullied and called the ugly and fat weirdo. I thought I would grow up and get over my self-esteem issues, but as I grew older, it got much worse. I've had close friends and even boyfriends make fun of my appearance and tell me how disgusting I am. I always thought I had to change myself for them so that I could be pretty. Sometimes, I still feel like this. I know it's not healthy, so I try my best to make others feel comfortable in their own skin. I don't want them to feel how I feel. Do other people with self-esteem issues feel like this? I know it's hard to put yourself out there. I still get self-conscious to this day lol. (Even though I lack a good self-esteem, I try my best to post photos of myself so that I can feel more confident about myself 😊)

The Biggest Thing I Lack

Ho sempre avuto difficoltà con la fiducia in me stesso sin da quando ero un bambino alle elementari. Sono stato costantemente bullizzato e chiamato il brutto e grasso strano. Pensavo che sarei cresciuto e avrei superato i miei problemi di autostima, ma man mano che invecchiavo, è diventato molto peggio. Ho avuto amici stretti e persino fidanzati che si prendevano gioco del mio aspetto e mi dicevano quanto fossi disgustoso. Ho sempre pensato di dover cambiare per loro in modo da poter essere carino. A volte, mi sento ancora così. So che non è sano, quindi faccio del mio meglio per far sentire gli altri a proprio agio nella propria pelle. Non voglio che si sentano come mi sento io. Anche altre persone con problemi di autostima si sentono così? So che è difficile esporsi. Ancora oggi mi sento insicuro lol. (Anche se mi manca una buona autostima, faccio del mio meglio per postare foto di me stesso in modo da potermi sentire più sicuro di me 😊)
