I tried the dating apps. Yeah, it is exciting at first and you get a lot of likes but most of the time , it's not the type of guys you would want to date. When you a get a match with potential, you go through the whole process of getting to know them.Somtimes they keep the match with very little conversation because they just want to keep all options. Sometimes they ghost you because they are not getting what they want.Makes you wonder if there apps are nothing but tool designed to make you feel less worthy.You need to be careful about not giving too much energy to these people.

Sometimes people and things demand so much out of you at work and even with family. You are expected to help everyone else and you find yourself getting drained. I am really looking forward to my Bali holiday away from the maddening crowd of home.

I think when you match with someone and you really want to get to know them, you should also think about the value of the time especially given timezones. If you want to play games where you are sent a text but you wait an entire day or hours before you answer and not because of time zone issues, then you are just treating the person as an option and not respecting their time.

Even though we sleep in air-conditioned rooms and cool temperatures, our bodies still sweat during sleep. An average person can lose a significant amount of water overnight through perspiration and breathing, and dead skin cells, body oils, and bacteria continue to accumulate while we sleep. That’s one reason many people prefer to shower after waking up to feel fresh and clean before starting the day. 

Many tourists ask why Thai people smell so good, even on public transport.

We have a joke about it too. In Thailand, many people shower at least twice a day, so we’re pretty sensitive to strong body odor. When someone smells particularly bad, it can get really awkward. You’ll see people quietly moving away, and sometimes we’ll exchange a look that says, “Yep, I smell it too.” Another look later means, “Time to relocate.”

And the absolute worst nightmare? When someone tries to cover strong body odor with perfume instead of actually getting rid of the smell. Now it’s not body odor or perfume it’s both at the same time, fused into a terrifying new chemical weapon. At that point, I’m not looking for an empty seat anymore. I’m looking for the emergency exit. 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠

I can’t imagine waking up and spending the whole day without showering. Here, most people shower at least twice a day once after waking up and once before going to bed.

And check on the guy who always says, “I’m good.” Because sometimes he isn’t.

I feel down and lost today. I think the loss of a friendship is hard and it is difficult especially when you didn't do anything wrong but the other party feels it is best to cool things off bevause things changed for them.I am not sure how to accept this as I miss my friend.
