Photo of Venus!
This is a photo I took of Venus using my 700x90mm telescope! I managed to catch it during its crescent phase. Not the best overall quality, but enough to see it!

The Universe is a huge place man...
I mean... Hubble was mind-boggling on its own, but the JWST is putting things into perspective, and the shear scale of this seemingly endless realm we call the universe... This place is absolutely enormous, and it's physical laws prevent even minor exploration due to matter needing close to... read more

Rare events in the sky
Here's something cool I came across today. If you have a telescope in 2035, you might be able to observe Alpha Centauri B in its periapsis (closest orbital position) with its sibling star α Centauri A. Alpha Centauri is the closest stellar system to Earth, with its 3rd star α Cen C dubbed Proxima... (edited) read more

We succeeded in taking that picture [from deep space], and, if you look at it, you see a dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever lived, lived out their lives. The aggregate of all our joys and sufferings, thousands of confident... read more

Ok this is goi g to sound like a stupid question but maybe someone can answer it. If you follow the big bang theory the ball of mass had to occupy a space what is the space outside of it. In terms of our Univers ever expanding from a specific point there has to be an infinite area outside of that.
