90s

Fridays in the 90s meant racing the clock to rent the last VHS tape at Blockbuster, praying nobody forgot to rewind it. We dialed up the internet, endured the screeching tones, and survived on pure, un-algorithmed vibes. Today, we just scroll through endless streaming menus until we fall asleep at … read more

I met only a senior apu from this app this year and we watched a movie 🍿 together at Blockbuster Cinemas. She was so pretty and caring that I couldn't resist myself writing this post. Can it run Crysis?

My first experience with Crysis was back on the Xbox 360 with Crysis 3 when the beta for it launched and to this day, it is still one of the best games I've ever played. The experience of shifting between a an unstoppable tank and a ambush predator was and is still truly unique. Jumping over small… read more

Raise your hand if 🤚

You used to rent games at Blockbuster lol 🎮

What is one thing (item not person) from your childhood you wish was still here today?

Personally, I really miss going to Blockbuster /movie stores. I liked finding all those weird one off movies and reading the synopsis on the back of the boxes 😂.. The picking up the snacks all at once :P. How about you

The fact I used to run a bunch of Blockbuster Videos

Stay cool.. 💁

If someone block you, unblocks you and then again block you, it means you are a blockbuster! 😎😆😏

Everybody's talking about blockbuster but who went to:

Today is the Anniversary Where Jaws was Released and is now 50 Years Old.

Do you love Jaws or think it’s overrated? For me: I still love this classic despite how little we see the shark till about near the end. It’s also still fascinating to learn behind the scenes about the animatronic shark as well this being the first film to coin summer blockbuster. (edited)

The good old days

How long ago was it that you went to pick up some movies at Blockbuster and then some yummy food at Taco Bell/McDonald's/KFC/Wendy's/BK to enjoy a nice Friday night?

When Blockbuster was the Go To Store to create memories. Picking a Movie. Asking your parents "Can we watch this one?"

Cringiest scene in a blockbuster movie?

For me it's this scene. Transformers Age of Extinction. The 20 year old male is dating the 17 year old daughter of Mark Wahlberg's character and he keeps a copy of the Romeo and Juliet law in his pocket..

Which one would you bring back and why?

Blockbuster because it be so nice to walk down the aisles and reminisce and have the option to have vintage snacks I would be so down for that lol

New Addition

Also got Super Metroid for the Metroid collection today at the convention. I love that this came from Blockbuster Video lol

The new blockbuster Easter in Russian 🇷🇺

Hollywood stars are ready to celebrate the main Orthodox holiday.

Taking out the Blockbuster card

What in your opinion is a good movie that wasn't a blockbuster. Going to make a list and watch them all.🎬

Blockbuster Vs Hollywood Video let's settle the debate !

For me even though Blockbuster was way more nostalgic Hollywood Video* had the better snacks the better movie selection and normally lower prices lol. It will always be the goat! *Hollywood video* cannot edit it now (edited)

Damn you Netflix for ruining this!

Loved me some blockbuster 😁

What would you choose?

Let's start a three sentence irl horror story thread. I'll start, "Famished, you scarfed down half the hotdog in one bite. You keep tapping your card on the machine and failing to hear the familiar beep, you look at your card. An old blockbuster card you grabbed by mistake."
