What are your must have lenses?

I bought a Nikon body years ago and got a 16-300mm and a 50mm prime. Bought a Canon body later on and the cheapest used lens B&H had at the time. It works, but I would like to get a decent 2 or 3 lenses. What's mising for general purpose or most common specific uses?
