I love when my maps come out how I wanted. Still learning cartography, but how did I do?

Creating a world

Im attempting to world build. My first book is slowly coming to fruition but I want to build around it into a more cohesive cartography. Im wondering if I should go about it with dice, or build it like expanding light and darkness. Maybe some other gimmick?
