Patri sapphires

I ended up aquiring some patri sapphires earlier in the year for learning purposes (so these were precut). I was able to fanaggle my phone to the microscope to get some pictures. Forgot to post pictures here of them. They may not be the best but they still are pretty.

Pyrocystis fusiformis

Hi there, this is bioluminiscent (glowing) algae under my microscope, i also recorded timelapse of their chloroplast contraction to the nucleus. Those are one of these which are in blue glowing beaches in posts around the internet.
