Patri sapphires

I ended up aquiring some patri sapphires earlier in the year for learning purposes (so these were precut). I was able to fanaggle my phone to the microscope to get some pictures. Forgot to post pictures here of them. They may not be the best but they still are pretty.

What was your last science experiment?

While this might not look all that fun to some. This has been my work for the last couple years. Almost seeing the light at the end of the Dissertation Desert Currently checking out various lipsticks with a 532nm laser on an older confocal microscope and also trying out Silver Nanoparticles
