I didn't want a cat... And then there was Figment

This beautiful lady is Figment, and she's different from every cat I've ever met. She's vocal, cuddly, sweet, playful. When my husband moved away for work a month ago, I got to keep the cat. When I get home from work and my battery is dead, she comes and sits on my lap, looks into my eyes and purrs. When I go to bed and I'm feeling lonely, it's only a few minutes before she comes to lay on my chest or at my side, often on her back for belly rubs. She'll come into the office and sit on my lap while I play games, grooming both of my forearms in a rotation until she's convinced I'm clean enough, then curls up into a kitty croissant to fall asleep.

I cannot believe three different families returned this perfect angel to the shelter.
