CURRENTLY LAST CHAPTER JAMES O.BARR THE CROW

Born from a Dying Nebula 💫🐦‍⬛

My ethereal watercolor crow. I wanted to bring a traditional gothic symbol into a soft, cosmic realm of pastel colors and metallic gold. He’s guarding the boundary between what is real and what is dreamed.

1994's The Crow and 2024's The Crow

I just saw the 2024 version of The Crow which is playing for free now on Fandango. Other streaming services are charging $3.99 or you have to have a subscription to watch. My thoughts: 1994's version was violent and gory for its time( there was alot of controversy at the time for depiction of… read more

Automatic impulses are so funny 😂

I just looked at a crow that landed in the street and got the urge to run out, grab it and get it out of the street. The strangest child protection impulse that i've ever felt.

The Crow

One of my favorite movies.

Good Morning! 🌄🌻🐦‍⬛

Woke up to be greeted by one of my crow friends, once again. It actually landed right in front of the main door and waited a couple of minutes before flying onto that shed; alas, I didn't have my phone in hand to capture that part.

Magpie and Crow

I need an input

I’m trying to create a character for a dnd oneshot which is pirate themed and I have two dominant ideas. 1. A kenku who looks more like a parrot than a crow who is the captain’s right hand/ pet. 2. A Mr. Miyagi type monk who’s been the ship’s swabbie/ deckhand for years and nobody thinks very… read more

Paper Crows

They folded me from brittle sheets, from hidden grief and fractured weeks, creased by hands that shook at night, and stained with things I could not write. A paper crow with charcoal wings, stitched together from broken things, I perched beneath a hollow sky, too tired to live, too scared to… read more
