Need some help.

Can anyone identify this waterfowl or waterbird? Not the best picture. He flew out of the water so quick.

It's way too cold for these cuties :( i wish i could take them home

I did give them extra waterfowl maintenance pellets so their metabolism can warm them up

Unfortunately, George got 'scalped' by one of the swans on the riverbank this morning. Waterfowl Sanctuary has come to collect him, it looks a lot worse than it is. He'll be back with the rest of the gaggle soon enough thankfully. It's been a rough old 7 days for George, bless him ☹

Toad in my cat's water bowl. Cats were very upset

They were very disturbed by the toad in the waterfowl, and made it clear to me. I scared the little (not that little tbh that dude was plump af) cutie and it hopped away

Out trying to capture photos of waterfowl again.

First 3 pics of the red throated loon. A ring-necked duck, a lesser scaup, common merganser female, 2 hooded mergansers, then a northern shoveler. I was hoping for more types but what can you do?😉
