Finished a nice 14mile hike in Kettle Moraine, WI. So I ran this feather pic through my iPhone’s Visual Lookup preloaded photo identification. Results: a Moreton Bay Fig. Oh, of course.

Where bone brushed feather, the air learned a darker kind of nearness.
