Day 213 ✔️- Mixed Music Day - Linda Rondstadt, Chaka Khan & Carly Simon

Today's little tidbit of music history... on this day, in 1982, as part of the "No Nukes" movement during the Cold War, the largest political rally in US history took place when about 750,000 people went to New York's Central Park for the Rally for Nuclear Disarmament, which featured performances by Bruce Springsteen, Jackson Browne, James Taylor, Linda Rondstadt, and Gary "U.S." Bonds. Also The Doobie Brothers, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Carly Simon, Graham Nash, Bonnie Raitt, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Raydio Nicolette Larson, Poco, Chaka Khan, Jessie Colin Young, Ry Cooder, John Hall, Gil Scott Heron, and Sweet Honey In The Rock. For day 213 of dancing, I chose 3 female artists from the above noted performers, Linda Rondstadt, Chaka Khan, and Carly Simon. I danced to "Don't Know Much" by Linda Rondstadt featuring Aaron Neville, "You're No Good" by Linda Rondstadt, "I'm Every Woman" & "I Feel For You" by Chaka Khan & "You're So Vain" by Carly Simon, as my 957th dance. It was a good dance day. I managed to get dressed for the occasion & even slapped on some mascara. Danced all five dances, without too much difficulty either. Which is great because tomorrow is scary as hell. I may have to revamp tomorrow's playlist to accommodate my energy level at this time. 🤔 Anyway, here is "Don't Know Much" by Linda Rondstadt featuring Aaron Neville
