According to me these are all the nodes you need to write every letter in the English alphabet, both capital and lower case.

Think of any letter, and see if you can make it by connecting some dots, I bet you can You can also find a lot of letters we didn't use if say you wanted to create runes, it's kinda cool that you can get so much out of just 13 nodes just by connecting them together. (edited)
