Felt a bit nostalgic this past week, so decided to make a throwback meal. Steak haché, frites.. growing up in France this was a regular childhood occurrence, and I've always enjoyed vegetables so yes, added some broc 😁

(Homemade steak haché patty, seasoned the mince and "moulded" it into a container, that I left in the freezer overnight.)

It doesn't have any cucumbers which are one of the main ingredients in pink soup and weirdly enough while I don't like it the combination of sugar of any kind does work with cucumbers. The beetroot puree is on the fourth place of the ingredient list so you can clearly taste it, but there's nothing to kind of balance that earthy taste which kefir, green onions and a bit of acid does surprisingly good in the actual soup. Super weird ice cream, but for one euro it's worth a try. You can find it in Lidl Lithuania.

Even for me this ice cream combination is weird.

Breakfast and lunch.. Grapefruit, blueberries, pears and an egg; followed by a homemade chicken salad sandwich. (5 a day? That's already about 8 😋)

Truth is, even when I post my "breakfast" separately, I tend to eat both together, between 12:00 to 14:00, since I don't get hungry when I wake up.
