Sick (maybe) Cockatiel
Well, might have to take the birds to the vet, hopefully tomorrow. My female Cockatiel, Serena, has some discolouration and crustyness on the feathers around her beak, like she threw up. I called an avian vet near us, told them the situation, and they recommend I bring her in. Birds don't show signs of illness, to not get picked off by predators, until it's too late. She's acting normal, still eating & drinking. I guess we'll see in the morning. Birds also tend to go down in health when they're sick very quickly. They're not hand tamed yet so I'll have to use a towel to get them into a carrier. I'm gonna worry like crazy until tomorrow..

I got the birds a new toy a few days ago and they still love it ^^ You actually shouldn't leave a toy in the cage for too long. Replace them often. Birds need constant stimulation

We're home from the vet. I won't get the blood test results until Monday. Serena had a couple blood feathers in her wing, so those were pulled out. Wing clipping wasn't done, cuz of the blood feathers. Ash was very protective of her haha. I'm sure they're glad to be in their home again
