Since Ive got nowhere else to post poetry...
Snowfall Thick soft velveteen night Scattered with thousands of pinpoints of light A thick soft blanket of frigid white Enveloping the sounds and world in pure perfection Deep protective banks of quiet softness Streetlights lighting the way as a man in a thick battered coat trudges along The dark contrast of graves frosted with snow Like cakes celebrating lives ended too soon for some Cars passing, splattering slush onto pedestrians They shun away, and bury themselves into their warm clothes Each heading towards home, to hide themselves From the freezing perfection that wants to coat it all And leave the world blindingly white and silent
