Random Question/Advice Needed

How important is any physical intimacy in a relationship to you? Is a sudden sexual incompatibility due to medical changes in libido reason enough to contemplate wanting to end a relationship of over 10 years? In this scenario one person wants more intimacy and the other is fine with how things were (little to no intimacy).

intimacy in a relationship is as fundamental as breathing.

Are they willing to open the relationship so that both can get their needs met? Are sex toys an option? Or are the only options on the table compromising boundaries or ending the relationship? (edited)

All I can say is this is something that you and your partner needs too have a discussion about. If you can both can agree to find some sort of acompromise, have a dating schedule for when you want to engage into intimacy or if all else fails, you both can break it off (hopefully) on good terms. I don't know this will help but I hope it does something. 🤷🏿👍🏿

For me, personally? I could go the rest of my life without it, trauma makes it unappealing. It depends on your relationship, how much value the connection, if resent the other person for their needs, or willing to accept their boundaries.
