When men say they want their woman to be submissive to them, what exactly do they mean ?

It can be on both parts. But sometimes doing so to each other helps things grow into deeper trust. It's easy to submit to the person you knows a subject better then you for the answer right.? It's not always tell what to do to be submissive.

@Christy because the male has ego. Ego that has been passed down for generations that must be up held other wise they were not worth for their fathers love or mother.

With his actions of the relationship. As well with being a leader to some times ask his better half in life. Or take her encouragement in the times of a litter pressure.

@Christy it's a lot of that. But mostly in the bedroom. At least from my experience.

@Benjamin (Ben) When I think of submissive I think of it in a biblical sense. Like the man makes most of the decisions in the household.

That they cherish the patriarchy and would hate to have an equal relationship

I think it's all about ego and control but I want to see other perspective. Being submissive sounds like I'm a female dog 😂😂.

It's more of what is going on to let us help when we can or want to. Also more of an asking way of things.

It means they want their woman to trust them enough to allow them to take the lead in the relationship

The man does to when his woman get upset. He submits his attitude to hers to show he is there

Oh ok that's an interesting take. So both should be submissive to strengthen the relationship and keep peace.

That sounds awful and unromantic 😂😂😂. I get that relationships take work but being submissive seems very uncomfortable.

Looks at America. Whelp... That's not gonna be a fun description. Often times, it's like a woman belongs in the kitchen. Modern times, replace kitchen with other things. Guys forget that submission can only exist if there's a counterpart. Usually this means domination. Wouldn't want submission, would rather have someone direct. Then again, men are fragile and can't be direct themselves. Plus it sees a person as an object. A submissive object.

Tough question that could span to many aspects of a relationship or as a whole. And doesn't stop a woman from wanting a "submissive" man. Could be in the bedroom, or otherwise. Everyone can look at this subject in different lights. And there are some men and women out there who would prefer someone "dominant"... Perhaps they're in charge of things all day at work and just want to come home and let someone whom they trust to take the reigns. I know I didn't exactly answer the question, but the question itself can be seen in a broad spectrum. Everyone who wants someone that can be either submissive or dominant, will have their own general idea of what they want...but it all comes down to trust really. Some may want someone to boss around in bed...some may want their partner to handle things like finances and scheduling because they're tired of doing it It can be a number of things to different people...a broad spectrum

Sometimes it's a kink thing, sometimes it's an abusive thing. They want to be the head of the household, like the idyllic 1950s white family with the picket fence. But often, without the rampant drug use at the time

I prefer the opposite in life. Give me strong women with opinions, goals, desires, and achievements. Even better when we can share them. But if we are talking about the other thing.. give me a switch/brat because I like a variety of dynamics.
