We can work past it as long as there's mutual respect

I didn't want to only be a housewife, I wanted my own money and achievements and a retirement fund to enjoy. People from the church back then literally asked my dad "to stop putting silly ideas in her head and make sure she grows up to find a husband and have children."

Now? I'm financially supporting my parents and able to afford independence - while women who followed that advice have to ask their husbands for money to buy a coffee 💀💀

I got made fun of and mocked for wanting to be a scientist despite being from a religious community

Please pray for me for strength and guidance.

Christian woman from my ex-commune: I saved myself for only my husband and I'm so proud I stayed clean and pure for him 😊🤭✨️

Me, who could smell the bs a mile away: sure I stayed a virgin too until I met my partner, I didn't "save myself for him" I haven't even met him yet until now lmao! I just waited until I met someone who i felt safe and comfortable with to explore that and it happened to be him - it was absolutely just for me though it made me feel comfortable- everyone is different long as they are doing what's safe and best for them it's really not that deep. I find the whole "saving myself for him teehee!" Thing really self-glorifying and self-wanking lmao its weaponised a lot against other women to create these judgy pedestals. It's one of the reasons I left the church. 

Her: I'm the LEAST judgemental christian! Don't go assuming things. Some women chose to be unclean and thats wrong, I'm just stating facts it's not self glorifying ! 😡

Me: .... SURE.

I upsetted quite a few christian women with this one.

A festival that is practise by Chinese.

A month where the gates of hell swung over and all ancestors roam to visit their family and in return, the living family member burn, incense and hell money. 

I dont celebrate it as it doesnt align to my faith but it is practice in my country. 


People used to buy many items made of paper besides alot of hell money. They even made IPhone and Mercedes or even Tesla.

Do you believe that the two work in tandem with each other in that they MUST exist together, or do you believe that they work as more of a checks and balances system?
