True romance only exists in movies and books
What are your thoughts about it?

Just like how the current media trend, paints men as some sort of accessory catering to womens every need, always at the ready to throw away all his accomplishments, and even his own life, when it is desired. True Romance, for me at least, is two strong individuals connected by admiration, sharing a common goal, helping when it is wanted, but leaving room for self growth, not looking at perceptions of others of how interaction should unfold, Devoid of external pressure keeping the union whole, but merely together entirely by their own choice.

I think a true romance in books may be different from a true romance in life, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist in reality. In books or films, it is customary to embellish or dramatize certain situations so that people are interested in watching them. There is also love and romance in life, but it does not always consist in some ostentatious actions.

I would say only a small percentage are capable of it, and I would even say devoted religious people but then again there's some out there, who aren't religious, achieve this type of romance you've seen in movies.

In my opinion, it shouldn't be difficult but it's understandable why it isn't achievable for most people.

i think it's rare to find. i hope one day to have my romance from the books kinda moment or lover but so far, i haven't. who knows, maybe it'll happen, maybe not.
