My mom's dog attacked my old duck normally she's not bad about going after them if she's on a lead but if you walk out the door she looks at you then tries to chase them and he can't really run or fly and she ripped off most of his wing feathers

I have been trying to feed them for a few weeks now. but except for 1 always they fly away instantly when they notice that i can see them especially the magpie's.

I do avoid eye contact when possible and try to simply observe them to not startle them but I am unsure how to work to a point where they are chill with eating we me being around.

I tried giving some nuts and even though they love them it has not changed the rest.

Anyone tips with becoming friends with crow-like birds?
