Solid recommendation that not a lot of people talk about but still has a significant presence in the cultural zeitgeist would be Fate. Specifically I recommend "Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works" as it's less than 30 episodes and one of the best shows I've ever watched full stop. As far as "unique" anime... I gotta say one of the most unique/bizarre shows I've ever seen that I actually really enjoyed was Monogatari. It's a bit long and is somewhat of a challenge to track down all the seasons, but still falls under that 150 episode mark and is honestly a wild watch experience. Very art house in its vibes.

What rando trash isekai have you been watching? Which one have you been watching that’s actually not rando trash?
For me it’s been 7th Time Loop, Villainess Lvl. 99, How Not to Summon a Demon Lord. Moonlit Fantasy and Shangrila Frontier have edged past rando trash for me. Mushoku Tensei is solidly good. YMMV.

What is your favorite thing to watch for a date?
Honestly for me it is anything cute and Sapphic, or anything that's just weird and likely to lead to a laugh. But even a bad anime would be good if I can cuddle with somebody who's sweet. Bonus points if it's sapphic. (femmes and thems are welcome in my inbox...) (edited)
