Was playing in the park with my son when suddenly a Myrmica ruginodis queen decided to run up to me and start climbing my leg 😂 What a beauty she is ❤️

1Surprise bug
This fella suddenly appeared in my big natural ant setup, which means that the larvae some was in there without me noticing and then survived all this time. And that's a surprise on its own cuz the ants living in there have quite the appetite 😅

So which ants do anyone of you keep? Until recently I had ponera pensilvanica, themnothorax, pogonomyrmex occidentalis, and native Canadian myrmica :)
Sadly, a water leak got the ponera and pogo may not recover from an issue I'm investigating.
