Pasar Hindu (Hindu Street Traditional Market)

The painting is inspired by one of the most iconic and historical place in Medan City. These traditional market is located on Hindu Street which is close to the Kesawan Area and Merdeka Square. This traditional market is nicknamed the 'mini' traditional market by the residents of Medan City. The reason is, this traditional market, which has been around for decades, is the shortest traditional market in the city of Medan. Along the road, there are some old Dutch buildings. Some were left damaged without maintenance, others have been restored. These painting is a signature of Rudi Pama, a local painters from North Sumatra Province.
