I remember when I was an exhibitor of this exhibit, and there was this giant bear made of little crocheted bears! Such a cool installation.

P.s. these bears were made by female inmates, to be given to cancer patients at a public hospital.

Napakagandang puso at makabuluhang inisyatiba! Ang kumbinasyon ng paggantsilyo, sining, at adbokasiya ay lumilikha ng isang malakas na epekto. Ito ay kahanga-hanga na ang mga oso ay ginawa ng mga babaeng bilanggo para sa isang layunin na kasing mahabagin bilang pagsuporta sa mga pasyente ng kanser. Ang mga pagkukusa na tulad nito ay hindi lamang nagdudulot ng kaginhawahan sa mga nangangailangan ngunit binibigyang-diin din ang positibong epekto ng mga malikhain at mahabaging aksyon sa mga komunidad
