Mine: Hyperpartisanship reveals an inability to hold opposing ideas without emotional reactivity. It reflects a rigid, binary view of the world; when in truth, ideas are not flat, but multi-dimensional. A mature mind must be capable of entertaining a thought without surrendering to it. (edited)
