I used to struggle with severe body acne. I visited a dermatologist who prescribed a strong soap and cream, but my condition worsened. After moving to my uncle's house, months passed by and I still experienced occasional breakouts on my back, but nothing like before.

It made me realize that the dermatologist hadn't identified the root cause of my acne. I discovered on my own that hard water was the culprit, as it dried out my skin excessively, leading to breakouts. Since moving to a new place with soft water, my skin has improved drastically.

Saw dermatologist today

Had some suspicious marks on my legs and possibly pre cancerous skin lesion and he says idk we don't really see colored people in this office we mainly see white and maybe you spilt salsa on your leg and thats why you have those marks. 😑😑🙄💀 Can't wait to leave this place.

Hate it

The birthmark on and above my lip just makes me hate my whole face. I guess I need to see a dermatologist or something.

What are your favorite skin/hair products?

I’m growing my hair out for the first time, and could use some recommendations for gentle shampoos or daily face washes, cause they all say they’re #1 dermatologist recommended? 😭
