A little geek looking for her people!

Hey! I'm 23, a bit of a nerd, and proud of it! 😂 I'm into D&D, gaming, cosplay, comics, board games and anything fantasy-related. I'm also a Dungeon Master, so I spend part of my free time creating adventures for other people to get lost in. ✨ I love a mix of cosy nights gaming, spontaneous… read more

Increased the Number of Pork Chops!

Those that may or may not know, I volunteer a full 8 hours of dedication at my Church Fall Festival. Long story short, my family's ran and operated the Pork Chop Booth now for over 30 years. I've been grilling for the past 5 years. Typically 900 Pork Chops are ordered. I remain as the primary… (edited) read more

Healing ❤️

Some people come into our lives not to love us, but to teach us how to grow. If someone has hurt you time and time again, don’t be too quick to hold it against them. Try seeing them as a piece of sandpaper—rough, uncomfortable, and sometimes painful. Yet somehow, those difficult encounters shape… read more

Collapse

For years, I built walls. Stone by stone, cemented by the betrayals of those I once loved. Every single time someone hurt me, I added another layer. I spent most of my life in absolute, unmoving solitude. And you know what? I became proud of it. It was my territory. My fortress. I didn’t know… read more

Abyssinian well

The well took over 7 hours to drill. It’s a well with character; water started flowing when we were about to give up and had slightly raised the pipe higher – then the water pressure kicked in. But every time you turn it on, it’s a lottery. It might give a good water pressure, or it might be worse.… read more

Does anyone watch different anime?

Does anyone watch anything other than One Piece, Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Naruto? People say they watch anime but have only watched one anime and it's usually one of those big five anime shows. Like they don't know about the master pieces from Ghibli Studios.

Fatal Distractions: Conquering Destructive Temptations 📖

What destroys us rarely begins by looking destructive. Sometimes it starts with a small compromise, a seemingly harmless desire, or something good that slowly becomes more important than it should be. Temptation often works through a false rationalization that we are in control. We continue to… read more

First date red flags? 🚩

Let’s be honest, modern dating is wild. As a Chess Master, I like to calculate risks, but nothing prepares you for the chaos of a first date. The Purpose of Marriage.

In short: the purpose of marriage is to labor for God more effectively. Not so short: When God created Adam, He gave Adam a job. That job is to have dominion over everything on the earth, every plant and animal, and if you do a bible study on the concept of "dominions" you will know that this… read more

Film #151 Master and Commander: The Far Side of The World (2003)

Epic Period War Drama Adventure What a delightful movie to watch. Everyone fits so well in his role. I wished they made more such sea-faring films like this. Alas, we get superhero slop instead... My Rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✨

Even if we find our burdens again...

Sisyphus teaches us the fidelity that raises rocks and negates Gods. The universe, without a master, is neither sterile nor fertile, and he too concludes that all is well. The struggle towards the heavens is enough to fill a man's heart. One must imagine Sisyphus happy. -an abridged quotation… read more

A song i made to express all my stays in a behavioral hospital because of my depressive/anxiety disorders that turned into schizophrenia

There's good in Melancholy, it improved critical thinking & focus. There's also good in anxiety, it helps us focus on where we are & where we want to be. To know how to use these "negative" emotions is to master our emotions, rather than be controlled by them. Im thinking of starting an emo… read more

If you could instantly master any skill, what would it be?

Cats vs Dogs? 🐾

Let’s settle this once and for all. Are you a dog person or a cat person? As a Chess Master, I appreciate cats for their quiet, strategic planning, but dogs definitely have that chaotic, fun energy. Which side are you on and why? Let the battle begin. 🐶🐱

Grand Master with Rashid is crazy

A minor chess crisis ♟️

Being 6'4 and a Chess Master means I can see the whole board and reach the top shelf easily, but I still have absolutely no strategy for modern dating. Should I just try a Sicilian Defense or ask Jeeves for advice? ♟️
