A year ago, I adopted this little man. He's gonna be 13 this year, he's blind, has lymes disease, has glaucoma, and has arthritis. A year ago, I gave him his first bubble bath (he was so dirty) and he showed me his belly in return (a sign of trust). We've had so many emergency room visits for his eyes and almost lost them. We've had to change the layout of our house so he can navigate. We learned how to communicate with clapping. We bought little stairs for him so he can relax on the couch. He literally became my baby and I hope I'm making his last years on earth good ones. Last week, I shaved him and sewn him his little bandana shown below. I never thought a teeny tiny little fluff ball would have captured my heart as quickly as he did. Please love your dogs no matter what. Through good and bad. They love us unconditionally, the least we can do is return it. ❤️
