7This one hurts a lot...
I had this phase in my teens when I read a lot. Like A LOT. And a lot of it was science fiction and fantastic novels. Dan Simmons' work had a huge impact on me. Never had I read sci-fi that could be so deep and beautiful. You'll be missed M. Simmons.

4It’s so weird being in this phase where you don’t even have e-friends let alone IRL ones, no secret admirers, no one pursuing you for friendship, nothing except you being alone with your thoughts 24/7
