Tonight's noms: messy pile of fruit

Persimmon, Pink Lady apples, tomatoes, kiwi fruit. Tomorrow night probably golden kiwis, pomegranate, flat peaches, bananas and grapefruit. We'll see. (edited)

One of my favourite local fruits...

The shadock...a type of pink grapefruit that's incredibly sweet. But you're not supposed to just slice into it. The traditional way of eating is to cut and tear off the thick layers of flesh (that can then be made into candy) and eat the individual pegs. It is sooo good😩🫶🏾 (edited)

Bought it to try and it ended up being surprisingly good.

If you hate that specific very harsh aftertaste of a fresh grapefruit, you will love this drink because it doesn't have that. It tastes enough of a grapefruit without being overpowering and as a non-alcoholic alcoholic cocktail it's very nice accompaniment to a heavier meal. (edited)
