what do you think about this
Is it normal for a spouse to forbid their partner from doing anything?

It's a relationship not a bloody prison. Now certainly there may be things your partner isn't comfortable with you doing, and certainly faced with something similar you may feel the same, so you both agree it's just something you won't do. Or you disagree and simply cannot move past that. Or you're mature enough to agree to disagree. Which let's be real rarely happens. You're their partner not their parents or keepers. Just saying.

What are some of your random facts that stuck with you most people don't know?
Just a random one from me, Napoleon was completely average height for his day, so the term "Napoleon complex" is erroneous.

The Great Meteor Shower of 1833 ๐ซโจ๏ธโ๏ธ
It was a night of 100,000 meteors. The Great Meteor Storm of 1833 was perhaps the most impressive meteor event in recent history. The first usage of the Arabic numerals in Europe!
In this manuscript from 1202 you can see the very first time the Arabic numerals were used in Europe, in a work by Fibonacci. A century later, they had almost completely replaced the roman ones, and 800 years later we still use them every day! #culture #numbers #history #classics #knowledge (edited)
