This may be a reach but here me out. Gachiakuta is an isekai. I know I know it’s not labeled as one but, if we broaden “isekai” beyond literal reincarnation and embrace its core essence, rebirth into a new world with new rules, then Gachiakuta absolutely qualifies.
Rudo’s fall isn’t just physical; it’s metaphysical.
He crosses from life to death, from privilege to exile, from ignorance to awakening.
By that logic, Gachiakuta is a grounded, industrial isekai, one that trades magic portals for garbage chutes and metaphors for reincarnation.
